Personal Property Acknowledgment Form

Averett will not be responsible for any damages, natural disaster/ water damage or theft of any of your personal property, regardless of cause. Averett University does make a personal property insurance plan that will cover all personal items that a student brings to campus. Coverage protects against damage caused by accidental damage (including cracked screens, liquid spills), liquid damage, natural disasters/fire/flood and theft/vandalism.

Adding liability coverage to personal property insurance will protect students if they are held financially responsible for damage to university property due to fire, smoke, explosion, liquid damage or sewer back up.

The university is no way responsible for claims, as the contract is between NSSI and the student.

All students are required to complete and submit the form below. Students will be charged on their Averett student accounts.
