I filed a claim for my laptop which had an accident. Trisha helped me finalize the claim and my check was issued in less than two hours. It was a very good experience and a high quality of service.

We bought NSSI insurance coverage for our daughter’s personal property while she’s at college and recently had to file a claim because of damage to her new iPhone. Trisha Collier & Jasmine Garrett quickly resolved the issue, and our claim was paid promptly. We were relieved to have had NSSI coverage and have recommended NSSI to other parents of college students. Thank you.

My experience in filing a claim was incredible from start to finish. The website is user friendly and when I emailed to have some questions answered Trisha Collier was my adjuster who kept in constant contact with me making me aware of what was happening with my claim. I received my claim payment in a timely manner. It was so wonderful to know I picked the right insurance company for my student renter insurance.

Both my brother and myself have been a customer for over 8 years with NSSI and neither of us have ever placed a claim. My house was recently broken into and I had all my electronic stolen. When I called NSSI to place a claim they told me that I would have to have PHYSICAL receipts of all the stolen items and that photos would not suffice. I would have kept my receipts if I was told to do so, but I was NEVER told this when I opened my account. So I had to call Walmart, Apple and AT&T to ask for help on receipts that were up to 7 years old. I'm just glad that they were extremely helpful and caring unlike my insurance company and that the robbers did not find my jewelry that was passed down from my grandmother because there is no way I would have receipt for that. When I finally finished this task and sent in everything, they then give you the amount of how much the items would cost now (so why do they need the original price? Do they think all their customers are trying to scam them?) So long story short, this is the WORST insurance company. I DO NOT recommend it for anyone, especially college students who are the least likely to keep receipts. I am glad that I have since changed insurance companies so that if I am so unfortunate to have to place another claim, I won't get robbed twice. I would rate a 0/5 if I could, but that's not an option.
